Position Title: Video Shooting and Editing Specialist

Employment Type: Full Time

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturday to Thursday

Location: Erbil

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Shooting and Editing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and communication goals. You’ll work closely with our creative, marketing, and production teams to deliver compelling visual stories that engage and inspire our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Plan, storyboard, and shoot video content for various platforms (social media, YouTube, website, ads, etc.)

·       Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for video shoots

·       Edit raw footage into polished final videos using editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)

·       Add motion graphics, visual effects, subtitles, and sound to enhance video content

·       Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver content that meets brand standards

·       Manage and organize media assets, backups, and project files

·       Stay up-to-date with video trends, techniques, and industry tools

·       Maintain video equipment and ensure it is always in good working condition

·       Occasionally travel to on-site locations for video shoots (if required)

Requirements:

·       Proven experience in video shooting and editing (portfolio or reel required)

·       Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)

·       Strong eye for detail, composition, lighting, and storytelling

·       Familiarity with camera equipment, lighting setups, and sound recording gear

·       Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously

·       Strong organizational and time-management skills

·       Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling

·       Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, or color grading is a plus

·       Degree in Film, Media Production, or related field is preferred but not required

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience with social media video formats (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)

·       Basic knowledge of photography is a plus

·       Familiarity with content marketing and branding principles
