Position Title: Procurement Officer
Reports To: Procurement Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Days: Saturday to Thursday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Erbil
Job Summary
The Procurement Officer is responsible for supporting procurement operations by ensuring accurate delivery follow-up, maintaining procurement records, and coordinating with warehouses and internal departments. This role focuses on execution, verification, and operational follow-up to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Main Responsibilities
Administrative & Coordination Duties
• Handle day-to-day procurement coordination activities
• Maintain organized records of purchase orders, deliveries, and documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding procurement requests
• Support procurement tracking and reporting processes
Delivery & Warehouse Coordination
• Follow up on deliveries and verify accuracy of items received
• Ensure correct product codes, quantities, and pricing in Odoo
• Confirm receipt of goods in coordination with warehouses
• Monitor delivery timelines and resolve delays
Fleet & Logistics Support
• Coordinate with relevant teams for delivery logistics
• Support urgent purchasing and delivery requirements
• Assist in resolving logistical challenges related to procurement
Payments & Financial Coordination
• Follow up on supplier payments and related issues
• Track pending payments and coordinate with Finance
• Ensure all procurement documentation is complete for payment processing
Operational Support
• Support Admin in office-related procurement (stationery, equipment, etc.)
• Follow up on procurement of mobile phones, SIM cards, and laptops
• Assist in handling urgent operational procurement needs
Reporting
• Provide regular updates to the Procurement Manager regarding:
o Delivery status
o Payment follow-ups
o Procurement activities
o Operational challenges
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or logistics
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Odoo)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Good communication skills in Kurdish and English
