Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Erbil & Duhok

Department: Operations

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Working Hours: Saturday to Thursday, 8 hours a day


Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by coordinating day-to-day activities related to receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. This position is responsible for supervising the warehouse team, maintaining accurate inventory records, upholding safety standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Supervisor supports the Warehouse Manager in executing operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of warehouse personnel, including warehouse officers, data entry clerks, drivers, and assistants.
  • Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of goods and materials.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and documentation control.
  • Monitor loading/unloading activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating critical matters to the Warehouse Manager when necessary.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing warehouse policies, SOPs, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of inventory movement, goods receipts, and dispatch logs.
  • Support onboarding and continuous training of warehouse staff on procedures, safety protocols, and system usage.
  • Ensure the warehouse environment is kept clean, secure, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Coordinate closely with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum [X] years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least [X] years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email).
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts or weekends when required.
