Job Title: Warehouse Officer

Location: Erbil and Duhok

Department: Operations

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Working Hours: Saturday to Thursday, 8 hours a day

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Officer is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse by ensuring proper documentation, accurate inventory handling, safe material movement, and effective coordination between receiving, storage, and dispatch activities. This role ensures that operational tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all inventory transactions in the warehouse system.
• Verify and inspect incoming shipments against delivery documentation and report discrepancies.
• Maintain proper labeling, tagging, and storage of goods to ensure ease of access and traceability.
• Monitor stock levels and support cycle counts and full physical inventory as required.
• Assist with the organization of the warehouse layout for optimal space usage and safety.
• Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and other departments to ensure proper flow of materials.
• Ensure all warehouse processes comply with safety regulations and internal policies.
• Support in preparing and submitting warehouse activity reports and documentation.
• Escalate issues such as stock shortages, damages, or safety concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Familiarity with inventory software systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
