Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Erbil & Duhok

Department: Operations

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Working Hours: Saturday to Thursday, 8 hours a day

Job Summary:

The Inventory Officer (also referred to as a Stocker) is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring all warehouse items are accounted for in the system. This role ensures that incoming and outgoing goods are tracked, discrepancies are resolved quickly, and inventory is kept organized and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against delivery notes or purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and regularly update the inventory management system.
• Label and tag inventory items correctly and store them in designated areas to optimize space and access.
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to detect and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory reports for management, highlighting shortages, overstock, or potential risks.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure stock replenishment as required.
• Monitor stock rotation to avoid expiration or obsolescence of items.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation during annual or ad hoc audits.
• Identify damaged, obsolete, or expired items and report to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of inventory areas.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Proficient in inventory software and basic Excel functions.
• Ability to lift and move items and perform physical inventory checks.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
