Job Title: Warehouse Officer

Working Days: Saturday – Thursday

Job Overview:

The Warehouse Officer will be responsible for managing inventory, incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring efficient operation of the warehouse. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Warehouse Operations Management:

• Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth handling of goods.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely receipt and dispatch.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensuring stock is managed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to manage deliveries and orders.

2) Inventory Control:

• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Track inventory movement to ensure items are accounted for and stored correctly.
• Implement effective stock management procedures to minimize shortages and overstock situations.

3) Order Processing and Documentation:

• Process incoming and outgoing delivery orders and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Maintain records of shipments, receipts, and transfers to ensure traceability.
• Prepare reports on inventory status and operational efficiency for management review.

4) Warehouse Safety and Organization:

• Ensure that the warehouse is organized and clean at all times, following best practices.
• Maintain safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the wellbeing of all staff.
• Monitor the condition of equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience:

•  At least 3-4 years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.

Skills and Knowledge:

1. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. 
2. Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure. 
3. Good knowledge of inventory control processes. 
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
